Baby Quilt

 

Two weeks ago my nephew got his first child, a little boy so I decided to make him a quilt after I had asked his mother if she would like to have one. Not every youth likes quilts so I asked before I made this. I used the X-block mini ruler to make this one. I really hope they like it. I have fleece as backing and also stabilized it with a very thin batting. It is machine quilted in a free motions pattern.

More Meshwork

After the class with Brita I wanted to do some more meshwork so I started to find a tiny mat and the materials needed for making tiny meshwork to make a cosmetic purse for my granddaughter.

I made very small band for it and the purse was easy to make. She loves everything violett so it had to be that colour, of course.
